This site is a special place for those who have been abandoned by one or both parents, had a bad childhood, step parent was abusive, grandmother beat you, grandfather hurt you, rape, incest, or maybe you watched while others in your family were injured and felt helpless, the list goes on and on.

Each one of us has our own unique story and maybe this place can bring a sense of community to our hurting souls.  We hope by visiting you can be encouraged by others who have overcome overwhelming obstacles, and for others who still struggle and just need to know " you are not alone' . Some of the topics here you will find very sensitive and not for the faint of heart.

I labored over the section, called “Why did you do it", but felt that reading some of the stories about why people we are supposed to trust, hurt us so deeply may help us understand, perhaps never forgive but possibly have some closure. Our only intention is to offer you the encouragement you need at any time you need it and resources to help.
